Experiments in bravery
I'm Tina Williams -the owner & founder of Brave Ceramics. I left a career in Social Work to pursue my dream job of making pottery in 2016. I sell my work at local boutiques and markets while also doing custom orders for businesses and restaurants such as Real Ale Brewery and El Alma. When I’m not in the studio, I’m passionate about sharing my love of clay through personal classes and partnering with a variety of community businesses that host our classes.
My current work is focused on dinnerware and items for your home or garden. I primarily use the potter’s wheel however, I enjoy hand building pieces which are created from clay rolled out thinly, imprinted with textures then altered to create functional or sculptural forms.
As a quintessential Gemini, I flutter to the ends of the spectrum in a matter of minutes. Dancing, reading tarot, and being a support to family and friends keeps my attention. I practice yoga to stay aware of daily life's affect on my body and mind.
